Art in the Gardens 2025 – Artist Application

Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens invites artists of all kinds to submit an application to exhibit their original work for the juried summer event, Art in the Gardens. The two-day event will take place on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3 from 11:00am to 5:00pm. All artists must commit to setting up and participating in both days of the event. This event is a major fundraiser for the Gardens and attracts as many as 2,500 guests each year. Artist booths will be located on our Event Lawn just a short walk from the Ocean Bluffs.

Complete this application and submit the required $30 non-refundable jury fee by Monday, March 24, 2025.

A jury will select 60 participating artists and notify all applicants in April 2025. If selected, artist will be required to turn in a 25% commission to the Gardens at the end of the event (5:00PM; 8/3/25). All artists must commit to setting up and participating in both days of the event. The MCBG Event Lawn has WiFi and limited cellular service. Artists must be prepared to handle sales offline as a backup. The Gardens cannot handle transactions for artists.
